That was the
message conveyed by Dr. Cindy Elsberry, Superintendent of Horry County Schools;
Chief Saundra Rhodes, Interim Chief of the Horry County Police Department; and
Deputy Solicitor Jimmy Richardson of the 15th Judicial Circuit at a press
conference held on May 4. Each addressed the impact that threats to schools have
on education, law enforcement and the judicial system. A public service
announcement was shared with local media to use in a community effort to stop
the rash of nuisance threats to schools. Watch
video.

Morning Procedures
Procedures for morning arrival:
You can do any of the following…
1. Have your child ride the school bus.
2. Drop your child off at the front of the school by getting in the car rider line.
3. Walk your child through the back door and let them go to class alone.
4. Sign in at the front desk and walk your child to class – sign out as you leave. You will have to use the Parent Check-IN at the front door.
Parent Check-IN System
In an effort to enhance safety at our school we have a sign-in system in our front office. The new computer-based system, called School Check-IN, requires you to bring in a driver's license or picture identification and scan it every time you visit our school or pick up a child.
Title I
We are a Title I School. Our Title I plan may reviewed by coming to the school office or the school Library/Media Center.
