HCS Begins H1N1 Immunization Clinics for Students
Beginning on November 9th, free H1N1 flu vaccine is being made available to all students of Horry County Schools through a cooperative effort between Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) and the School District. Attention Parents
You will no longer be able to make a left turn into the Primary School driveway between 7:00 and 7:30 AM.
The best way to enter our driveway during this time is by coming up 33rd Ave. off of Oak St., (if you are coming from 38th Ave.) driving across Doug Shaw Stadium parking lot and entering the right turn lane. Your other option is to turn off of 29th Ave. and go to the stadium, make a u-turn and return to the right turning lane.
Parents dropping off at the elementary school should use their entrance at 29th Ave. and not come through our driveway unless you are also dropping off a primary student.
Thank you – we hope this will decrease the traffic problems on 29th and Oak St.
Parent Check-in System
In an effort to enhance safety at our school we have a sign-in system in our front office. The new computer-based system, called School Check-in, requires you to bring in a driver's license or identification and scan it every time you visit our school or pick up a child.
Title I
We are a Title I School. Our Title I plan may reviewed by coming to the school office or the school Library/Media Center.
